This is a new feature that I discovered this by accident. After switching to Windows 7, I drag windows to the edge of screen to maximise or dock it, and then drag it off to go back to the previous window size.
But, I had this problem where that after maximising some windows like Office Word 2007 or Office Excel 2007, you can’t drag it out to restore it to the previous size! I think it must have something to do with Office doing funny business with window decorations…
Anyway, I just realised that this now works – after installing Office 2007 Service Pack 2. At least I think that’s what solved the problem. Anyone care to confirm?
Here’s good news for those of you who have been wanting to get Office Ultimate 2007, but didn’t get around to it. Microsoft has just extended their program to October 2008, a good few months from the previous deadline of 15 May!
So that is your second chance to grab you very own genuine copy of Microsoft Office 2007 Ultimate Edition for only $75. Offer is only eligible for Australian Uni and TAFE Students.
Just discovered that there is actually a game on the It’s Not Cheating site. It’s called Cheat Street, and the aim is to get the assignment in on time. Normally you’ll need to run like you’re playing Mario Brothers, avoiding the clocks that kill your time. But, if you drink coffee, that’s like the flashing star you’d get in Mario to give you invincibility. Get one of those and kill off all the clocks you encounter.
I’ve had a try at this game today, and found that my computer actually lagged while playing it. Maybe it’s time for an upgrade… So the best score I’ve got was 225 and missed the deadline. Ah well. Give it a try and see how you go with it.
Also, you can enter into the Golden Blog 2 contest to win great prizes. All you need to do is blog about how you can get Office Ultimate for only $25 for a year or $75 for keepers. You can win a $10,000 Prepaid credit card thanks to www.mycanvascard.com.au, a new HP laptop, a new Palm Treo, or an amazing holiday from Contiki.
This competition closes on 15 May 2008, so you have all the time you need to do up your best blog post or video blog post.
Tell all your Uni and TAFE friends about this amazing Office deal. Remember, it’s not cheating if you don’t get caught!

At the beginning of this year, Microsoft announced a massive promotion called “It’s Not Cheating”: You get Microsoft Office Ultimate 2007 for only AUD $75! Anyone would think that this just isn’t possible, especially for software that retails at over $1000.
Well, Microsoft has decided to bring this offer back by popular demand. If you are a TAFE or Uni student in Australia, grab it before it goes in 15 May 2008!
