Stated at 1.7Ghz but the motherboard chipset only lets it run at 1.3 Ghz as stated in this article. It passed away a few months ago. Replaced with a new Toshiba. But I wouldn't recommend upgrading this laptop given today's laptop prices. It'd be much cheaper to buy a new laptop rather than to buy a CPU upgrade. Unless, of course, if you're doing it for fun.
